‘Wicked’ Witch Costume Joining Dorothy’s Ruby Slippers at Smithsonian

A witch hat, dress and broom from Broadway’s ‘Wicked’ will join Dorothy’s ruby slippers from ‘The Wizard of Oz’ in the collection at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History.

Ruby Slippers from “Wizard of Oz” Headed to London

They’re not in Kansas anymore. Dorothy’s ruby slippers from ‘The Wizard of Oz’ are leaving Washington on their first international journey to London’s Victoria and Albert Museum.
