Nothing went right as 19th-ranked Georgetown suffered its worst home loss in over 40 years in losing to Pittsburgh 73-45 on Tuesday night at the Verizon Center.
Hoyas Down Pitt, Advance to Quarterfinals
Georgetown (23-7) defeated Pittsburgh 64-52 on Wednesday afternoon to advance to the Big East quarterfinals. The Hoyas were led by Henry Sims with 20 points, 13 rebounds, and five assists and will take on Cincinnati on Thursday.
