Obama Looking To Create World’s Largest Ocean Preserve By Protecting Stretch Of Pacific From Drilling, Fishing

President Barack Obama is looking to create the largest marine preserve in the world by protecting a massive stretch of the Pacific Ocean from drilling, fishing and other actions that could threaten wildlife, the White House said.

Missile Defense System Successfully Tested Over Pacific

The Missile Defense Agency and U.S. Navy sailors completed a successful test of a missile defense system by destroying a target launched Tuesday night over the Pacific Ocean.

Military Conducts Largest, Most Complex Test Of Ballistic Missile Defense System

The U.S. military intercepted four out of five targets over the Pacific Ocean in the largest and most complex test of the nation’s ballistic missile defense system, the Missile Defense Agency said.
