Md. Gov. Announces Grant Application For Maglev Train After Riding One in Japan

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan apparently enjoyed his ride on a magnetic levitation train in Japan so much that he wants to bring a similar ultra-fast line to the Baltimore-Washington corridor.

Japanese Train Could Travel From Baltimore to D.C. in 15 Minutes

The latest thing in travel between D.C. and Baltimore is MARC’s weekend train service, which began in early December. Japan, however, is looking to one-up that long-awaited advancement in transportation between the cities.
