Guard Receives Medal for Family Research Council Shooting Heroics

Mayor Vincent Gray presented the first-ever Mayor’s Medal of Honor to a security guard for his heroism in the face of a shooting at the Family Research Council this summer.

Guard Wounded At FRC Shooting Released From Hospital

The building manager for the Family Research Council says he’s out of the hospital and his “condition continues to improve.”
