HOV Lanes On I-95 To Close Most Weekends Through Summer

Weekend travelers on Interstate 95 in northern Virginia won’t have access to the HOV lanes this weekend — and on most weekends throughout the spring and summer.

Maryland and Virginia have made the jump into “hot lanes” to help cut down traffic congestion with the I.C.C. and I-495, and D.C. could be next.
