More than five months after a 5.8 tremor struck Mineral, a 3.2 magnitude aftershock rattled central Virginia on Monday night.
A new report on the earthquake-damaged Washington Monument details extensive cracking and chipped stones on the top portion of the 127-year-old structure.
Two reactors at Dominion Virginia Power’s North Anna Power Station were at 100 percent as of Monday morning. The units automatically shut down after the 5.8-magnitude Aug. 23rd.
On Sunday, the cathedral will open its doors for its first public worship service since the 5.8-magnitude quake.
