With the San Francisco Giants being the first team since 1986 to successfully protest a game, we decided to take a look back at some of the past protested games upheld by the MLB. Here’s five times MLB game protests have been upheld:

Last night’s 3-inning, 5-run rally back to victory against the San Francisco Giants gave the nationals more than just an improbably series sweep. It gave them more than just the confidence of knowing they are only a half-game back from being one of the 3 best teams in baseball. Last night’s 6-5 victory gave the Washington Nationals a night to look back on as a franchise turning point if they beat all the odds and bring hardware home in October.
