Pete-Medhurst300Pete Medhurst is the afternoon-drive sports anchor and host on 106.7 The Fan and All-News 99.1 WNEW in Washington.

Throughout his 24-year radio and television career, Medhurst has worked for CBS College Sports, HDNet and handled morning drive duties on The Score 1310 in Norfolk, Va.

He created all-sports station AM 960 in Salisbury, Md. at age 20 and later went on to announce play-by-play for Salisbury University, Virginia Wesleyan College and Hampton University.

A local product out of Southern High School in Harwood, Md., Medhurst has been an active member of the community through Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks Programs. He also has served as as a high school basketball coach and official.

Catch Medhurst voicing play-by-play athletics for the United States Naval Academy and announcing the track races at Rosecroft and Ocean Downs Raceway.
