Matt DelSignore is a D.C.-based reporter and fill-in anchor for All-News 99.1. Before joining WNEW in January of 2012, he worked at KDKA in Pittsburgh, WGY in Albany, WSYR in Syracuse and WTNY in his hometown of Watertown, NY.

A graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, Matt has covered the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina along the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Super Bowl celebrations with fans in Pittsburgh and Baltimore, the 2012 Republican and Democratic National Conventions and the inauguration of President Barack Obama at the U.S. Capitol. His reporting has earned recognition including a regional Edward R. Murrow Award from the RTNDA and the Art Athens Award for Individual Excellence from the Associated Press.

‘Community Cabs’ May Be Coming to D.C.

D.C. is considering borrowing an idea from New York City with the goal to bring better cab service to neighborhoods outside of the downtown area, including areas east of the Anacostia River.

Gray: Answering Investigation Questions ‘Raises More Questions’

Mayor Vincent Gray broke his usual silence on questions regarding possible involvement in an alleged shadow campaign Friday, offering that talking about it “just raises more questions.”
