Holden attended the University of Kansas and earned a degree in broadcast news.

His first job was sports director at KSCB-AM in Liberal, Kansas. From there he worked as a reporter, anchor, and host at KJR-AM in Seattle, SportsFan Radio Network in Las Vegas, The Iowa Cubs in Des Moines, Iowa, WWZN in Boston and in Kansas City.

Portis Still Alive, Ready For NFL Return

Sunday night rumors began to spread about former Redskins running back Clinton Portis passing away in a car crash. On Monday, a very alive Portis joined Holden Kushner on “The Mike Wise Show with Holden Kushner,” and revealed that his mother called him in a panic to make sure he was safe.
