Chuck Carroll currently serves as a contributor for

He is a radio veteran, member of the Pro Football Writers of America, former pro wrestling announcer and most importantly an advocate for healthy living.

Chuck is entering his fifth season covering the Washington Redskins.

Chuck began his radio career as a promotions assistant at WASH-FM in 2001. Within six months he became a full-time producer and remained in that role when the night time show signed a national syndication deal with Premiere Radio Networks.

In 2006, Chuck made the jump to the recently revamped WBIG-FM as the sidekick for Jon Ballard on the morning show. Two years later he assumed the reigns as Online Content Director for the station.

He briefly worked for Red Zebra Broadcasting in 2011 before joining CBS Radio.

Healthy Living and Weight Loss

At just 5 feet 6 inches tall, he weighed 420 pounds before making the decision to radically change his life.

Chuck, a native of Norfolk, Va., shed 250 pounds without ever setting foot inside a gym.

He became a student of nutrition and health and is a living testimony that there is a difference between dieting and changing your diet.

In the years since, Chuck has changed virtually every aspect of his life and prides himself on maintaining a weight loss.

He is driven to pay forward what he has learned and share his experience with others.
