Although Cheryl Simone hails most recently from her second tour of duty at WIOD in Miami, she is best known for the decade she spent anchoring nights at 1010 WINS in New York. It was there she won a number of AP and AIR awards, as well as the prestigious Radio Journalist of the Year award from the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
Cheryl’s career also includes stints at WCBS NewsRadio in New York and CBS Radio affiliate WINZ in Miami.
Cheryl also publishes an online magazine for the pet rescue community.
