Horford’s Late Follow Gives Hawks 82-81 Win Over Wizards

Al Horford snatched away an offensive rebound and dropped in the winning basket with 1.9 seconds left after Dennis Schroder’s drive to the basket was blocked by John Wall, giving the top-seeded Atlanta Hawks an 82-81 victory over the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night and a 3-2 lead in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Wizards Rally Falls Short in 106-101 Loss to Hawks

Finally looking a bit more like a No. 1 seed than the team that’s been so-so in the playoffs, the Atlanta Hawks beat the Washington Wizards 106-101 on Monday night behind Jeff Teague’s 26 points, including a key 3, to even their second-round series at two games apiece.
