D.C. United (9-4-3, 30 points) remained in first place in the Eastern Conference after Chris Pontius knocked in a Branko Boskovic free kick in the 78th minute for a 1-0 away win on Saturday night at PPL Park in Chester, Pa. It was United’s fourth straight win.
