Andrea Mitchell – Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent

Mitchell covers foreign policy, intelligence, and National Security issues for NBC News and MSNBC. In addition to traveling with Secretary of State John Kerry, she hosts “Andrea Mitchell Reports” on MSNBC, her daily program of political and foreign policy news. Mitchell was also a lead correspondent covering the 2012 Presidential Campaign. She is the author of Talking Back: …To Presidents, Dictators, and Assorted Scoundrels (Viking 2005), a memoir about her experiences covering five presidents, Congress and foreign policy.

Yvette M. Alexander — D.C. Councilmember

Alexander has been a member of the D.C. Council since 2007. She chairs the Committee on Health and is a member of the committees on Business, Consumer and Regulatory Affairs; Education; and Workforce and Community Affair. She is responsible for the oversight of health professional boards and agencies, which include the Department of Health; Department of Health Care Finance and the D.C. Health Benefit Exchange Authority.

Nancy Bocskor — President

Bocskor, called a “Democracy Coach” by a major German newspaper, teaches citizens in the U.S. and internationally how to communicate with passion to affect change in their communities. She founded The Nancy Bocskor Company in 1990, and has raised money for more than 100 members of Congress and candidates and has trained activists and leaders in more than 20 countries. The author of “Go Fish: How to Catch (and Keep) Contributors: A Practical Guide to Fundraising,” Bocskor is also a professor at George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management.

Amy Morris – Morning Drive Anchor, 99.1 WNEW

Morris earned a National Edward R. Murrow award for her work covering the “Beltway Sniper” shooting spree for three weeks in October of 2002. She has been a regular guest analyst on local TV news stations, and on ABC’s Nightline, National Geographic and MSNBC, discussing Sept. 11, the Beltway Sniper, the federal budget sequestration and the government shutdown. Before moving to the nation’s capital, Morris earned the Associated Press Investigative Reporter of the Year Award in Illinois. Read more.
