UPDATE:

John Wall is so good, and so exciting, that D.C. sports fans sometimes take him for granted.

He is arguably a top-10 player in the NBA in terms of skill and value to his team, and he is hard to dispute as a top-10 player in terms of excitement.

Hassan Whiteside, the exceptional defender for the Miami Heat, learned that lesson the hard way Wednesday night.

Yikes.

The good news is Wall can’t possibly do anything that disrespectful twice in the same game, right?

Lol.

Remember when Justise Winslow was in front of John Wall? It seems like so long ago.

Oh, and both of those plays were in the first half.

Really good to see Wall and the Wizards beat the Heat. The Heat are a tough match up because Whiteside/Olynyk and Dragic/Johnson are tough to guard and block out. Wall raised his status with last night’s performance, and recently his jumpshooting is improved.
