Seemingly everybody on the Redskins is injured. The offensive line has suffered more than just about any position group.
When guard Tyler Catalina went down with an injury in the second quarter Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks, the broadcast crew made a comment about Catalina being “the fourth right guard” for Washington, and that’s probably about right.
So what do you do when your entire offensive line is hurt? Use a defensive player!
Behold, Redskins linebacker Ryan Anderson as a fullback:
The best part about this is it was the second play in a row that Washington used Anderson as a fullback. Fun, right?
Well, somebody wasn’t having fun. Linebacker Mason Foster, who is out for the season with a shoulder injury, is live-tweeting the game, and he wasn’t thrilled about the decision.
Nothing like a good linebacker/fullback controversy!
