Junkies Poker Open 2017, the first-ever held at MGM National Harbor in Prince George’s County, Md., was a record-setting success!

With 656 total players registered, a Maryland state record for the largest live-seated poker tournament, the prize pool boomed to $162,688, with payouts going 63 places deep.

More than 100 people arrived at the casino the night before to pre-register, and a new line had formed early the next morning, trailing around the corner, for 9 a.m. registration the day of the tournament.
