WASHINGTON — Terrelle Pryor and DeSean Jackson are very different players.
Jackson checks in at just 5-foot-10 and 178 pounds while Pryor stands 6-foot-6 and 240 pounds. Both receivers are quite fast, but Pryor can’t possibly keep up with Jackson, who is perhaps the fastest receiver in the league despite being on the wrong side of 30.
But Kirk Cousins might have finally found a replacement for his former speedster teammate in the much bigger Pryor.
That’s a 44-yard gem from Cousins to Pryor, for the latter’s first touchdown as a member of the Redskins. And it came barely three minutes into the game to put Washington up 7-0 early.
An excellent defensive sequence saw the Redskins get the ball back quickly, then another solid Redskins drive stalled in the red zone. Washington is up 10-0 at time of posting.
