WASHINGTON — Max Scherzer got a look at up-and-coming Mets prospect Tim Tebow down in Port St. Lucie Monday.

Tebow, who will start the season with the Class-A Columbia Fireflies, faced the two-time Cy Young Award winner twice.

Tebow finished the day 0-for-4 with three strikeouts and a ground-out back to the pitcher.
