Breeland, Docton Inactive, Jackson Active vs. Browns

WASHINGTON — As feared, the Washington Redskins will be without one of its starting cornerbacks and another top young weapon, as the game day inactive list included Bashaud Breeland (ankle) and Josh Doctson (Achilles’):

Starting left guard Shawn Lauvao (ankle) will also be out, with Spencer Long likely starting in his place.

Not many other surprises on the list, as third-string quarterback Nate Sudfeld, cornerback Dashaun Phillips (hamstring), offensive lineman Vinston Painter, defensive end Anthony Lanier and offensive guard Shaun Lauvao will also be inactive.

The Redskins had a litany of injuries last week, as at least 12 players were at least limited in practice this week. Wide receiver DeSean Jackson (knee/ankle); defensive ends Chris Baker (elbow/toe), Trent Murphy (elbow/shoulder) and Kendall Reyes (groin); and cornerback Josh Norman (illness) all bounced back from limited action to be active on Sunday.
