WASHINGTON — John Wall answered plenty of questions at Wizards Media Day on Monday, including several about his “dislike” of Bradley Beal and far more about his health.
But he also took a break from the serious matters at hand to spend a few minutes answering questions for some young reporters.
Among the questions he answered: What is your favorite Halloween costume (The Joker from “The Dark Knight”) and, on a scale of 1-10, how good of a singer are you?
To the latter question, Wall answered with a modest “negative five.”
Like any good reporter, the young girl pressed Wall on his singing skills, ruthlessly challenging him to sing Jingle Bells in front of the crowd. He obliged, belting out a version of the Christmas tune that, while hardly a pleasure on the ears, wasn’t quite “negative five” bad.
It wasn’t that bad, right? He even got the kids singing along with him. Way to win the media over, John.
