WASHINGTON — Redskins defensive end Ricky Jean Francois is quickly becoming a staple in Washington.

The veteran lineman was only brought to town a year ago, but he has since made a strong impact on and off the field, and he is already becoming associated with the team’s alleged improved culture.

On Sunday against the New York Giants, Francois plans to wear cleats to honor the late, legendary Redskins fan, Zema Williams, better known around Washington as Chief Zee.

The game, which is the Redskins’ first road game of the season, will be the team’s third since Williams passed.
