Redskins Color Rush Jerseys Released, Criticized

WASHINGTON — For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Last week, the Wizards released their Stars & Stripes uniform, meant to serve as a tribute to the United States military. They received overwhelmingly positive reviews.

This week, the Redskins released their Color Rush jerseys, which were leaked a day earlier.

Here’s what they look like:

They received, um, slightly less favorable reviews.

One problem (aside from the aesthetics): The Redskins are reportedly not wearing Color Rush uniforms this year.

While it’s unclear if they’ll actually be worn this year, they’re already available for purchase on Nike’s website for a cool $150. But according to ESPN’s Darren Rovell, the Redskins aren’t the only team to release Color Rush uniforms that might not be worn.

At time of posting, the Redskins had not commented on the jerseys.

UPDATE
Dan Steinberg reports the Redskins won’t be wearing the jerseys in 2016 after all.
