Update at 6 p.m.: With all of the cuts known, Redskins beat reporter Brian McNally has offered his analysis of the Redskins’ final 53-man roster.


WASHINGTON — NFL teams have until 4 p.m. ET to cut down their rosters to 53 players. This is a log of those cuts and implied cuts, as well as other relevant moves.

Logan Paulsen has learned of his release, Brian McNally reports. Paulsen initially stated he was unaware of any pending release.

Brian McNally’s final 53-man roster projection, linked above, correctly listed Ross as safe.

Anthony Lanier – DL

Deshazor Everett – DB

McNally identified Everett as a tough call for Washington. The question now is whether the Redskins will keep five safeties. Keeping Everett suggests that is the case.
