WASHINGTON — The Redskins have acquired center Bryan Stork from the Patriots, 106.7 The Fan’s Brian McNally has confirmed.
The 25-year-old, a fourth-round pick in 2014, has served as New England’s starting center for each of the past two seasons, but multiple concussions and other injuries have caused him to miss considerable playing time, 11 games in total.
The Patriots were believed to be in the process of releasing Stork, as NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported earlier, but have instead worked out a deal with the Redskins, who will send a conditional draft pick to New England.
Update: Brian McNally has the full story on the Redskins trading for Stork.
