There’s something you should know about Chris Russell, former Redskins reporter and current sidekick to Chad Dukes on 106.7 The Fan.
He’s a bald-faced liar.
This startling revelation was made through a series of interview segments with Washington Post reporter Mike Jones on “Chad Dukes vs. The World.”
Russell laid roots for his nefarious activity last week, when, in speaking to Jones on the radio, Russell repeatedly — on at least six separate occasions — addressed Jones in the friendly term of “Jonesy.”
Audio evidence here and here:
On Tuesday of this week, Jones made another appearance on the show. During this segment, an audio recording, of Russell referring to Jones as “Jonesy,” was played back to Jones.
“That’s a lie. That wasn’t one interview,” Russell said, a statement, the evidence will prove, was an abject lie. “That was made up. That was a crock of crap. That was multiple interviews.”
“You have a grown man and a father lying to you through his teeth right now to you on the radio,” Dukes asserted, truthfully.
“That was multiple interviews, uh, Mike Jones,” Russell offered further defense of his deceit.
“We can play the interview, Russell, if you’d like,” Dukes contended.
“That’s okay. We don’t have to do that,” Russell said. “We can take my word for it.”
Russell’s word, apparently, isn’t worth very much.
“That was two totally different — at least — interviews,” Russell went on to say, continuing to reveal the contents of his character. “You hear the inflection in my voice. It’s very different.”
Yeah. Tell it to the judge, Russell.
