1-Man Protest of Indians Outside Nationals Park

WASHINGTON — A small protest of the Cleveland Indians took place outside of Nationals Park on Wednesday.

Many who attended the game likely missed it entirely, as it was just one man holding a single sign.

Aside from the sign, which reads “Play Baseball. Not Indian!,” he’s wearing a t-shirt with the Indians logo, but instead of “Indians,” it says “Caucasians.” The sign also includes the logos of the Indians and the Atlanta Braves with the word “racist” slapped across them.

According to 106.7 The Fan’s Tom Daly, the man made no mention of the Redskins nickname.
