WASHINGTON — The Washington Nationals managed just three base runners on Sunday, while the visiting San Francisco Giants had eight. On any other day, the post-game wrap would be a tragedy.
But on Sunday, the Nationals celebrated the most efficient path to victory in 12 years in D.C.
