You only get this once a year, the promise of the season devoid of regular season realities. Will the reigning NFC East champions repeat? Or will they be maligned by injuries and fall back as one-hit wonders?

Redskins Open Camp with 5 Players on PUP List

This is about as procedural as you can get. Any of the five Redskins placed on the PUP list can return, at any point, once deemed healthy. The reason for the precaution? Once a player takes the field during preseason — for practice or a game — that player is ineligible to go on the PUP list after the season begins. The only option, then, is Injured Reserve.
