Jordan Reed Not Among Madden’s Top 5 Tight Ends

WASHINGTON — EA Sports has been slowly releasing the ratings for the top players at each position of its latest installment in the Madden NFL series.

On Tuesday, the ratings for the top five tight ends were released. Somewhat surprisingly, Jordan Reed did not make that list. Where he is rated among the league’s tight ends is unknown, but it’s at least sixth.

Despite missing two games last season, Reed was second among tight ends in receptions (87), fifth in receiving yards (952) and tied for second in touchdowns (11).

The Redskins were surprised by that reveal, expressing their confusion via Twitter.

The game franchise’s official account didn’t have an answer for the Redskins.

Maybe Reed is ranked the sixth best tight end?
