Trea Turner Becomes 3rd Player in Nats History to Steal Home

WASHINGTON — Just in case you’d forgotten, Trea Turner is incredibly fast.

Turner, who had never hit a triple in the major leagues before Tuesday, hit his second career triple on Wednesday night. He was really slacking, however, and only got up to 22.4 miles per hour.

Turner then quickly did himself one better and stole home.

Turner became the third player in Nationals history to steal home, and the first since Bryce Harper did it on May 6, 2012.

Suffice to say, it made up for his botch on the basepaths earlier this week.
