Yes, Facebook is changing… again.
In late June, the social media giant with 1.65 billion members said it planned to make a series of changes to its algorithm to more favorably promote content posted by friends and family of users. This means content from sports and news organizations — like 106.7 the Fan and CBSDC — will be pushed down on News Feeds.
So while we would never want to deprive you of seeing photos of your aunt’s dog or brother’s kid, there’s a simple way to make sure our news and sports content doesn’t get lost in the shuffle.
