WASHINGTON — The Wizards, and Bradley Beal, simply cannot catch a break on the injury front.
Beal has missed 20 of the team’s 42 games this season with numerous injuries, and he was just beginning to work his way back into game shape from his latest — a stress reaction in his right leg, the fourth such injury of his four-year career — when he took an incidental elbow from Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart Monday night.
Beal left the court after the play with his nose streaming blood, and he did not return. He was declared questionable to return before later being downgraded to out.
Bradley Beal done for the night. Took a shot across the nose in the first half, some trouble stopping the bleeding in the locker room.—

He was diagnosed with a broken nose and a concussion. The team officially listed him as day-to-day. He did not play in the Wizards’ blowout loss to the Toronto Raptors Tuesday night.
