WASHINGTON — Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed Monday night at a gas station in Forestville.
Prince George’s County Police say they responded to the 3200 block of Walters Lane for the report of a shooting around 7:10 p.m. Upon arrival, they found 22-year-old Christopher Charles Ealey suffering from gunshot wounds inside the business.
He was taken to a local hospital where he died a short time later. Police say Ealey was not a gas station employee.
Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random act. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered in this case.
Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) and motive in this case.
