WASHINGTON (WNEW) – A 73-year-old man has turned himself in for a fatal hit-and-run that injured a D.C. woman and killed her fiancé in February.
The U.S. Park Police identified the suspect as Earl Teeter of Hyattsville.
Teeter turned himself in on Wednesday and appeared before a judge. He was released under the supervision of U.S. Pretrial Services and ordered not to operate a vehicle.
On February 1, a hit-and-run crash killed 38-year-old Rick Warrick of D.C. and injured his fiancée.
The couple was trying to change a tire on the northbound side of the Baltimore Washington Parkway north of Route 197.
