LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) — A new apartment complex opening near Catholic University of America (CUA) is the first to in D.C. to be made primarily from sea containers.
The project, cleverly called SeaUA, was spearheaded by D.C.-based Travis Price Architects.

According to a news release from the company, the 18-unit project was started and finished in just over 7 months and is being marketed to millenials.
“Every effort has been made to evolve these units into ultra-low energy consumption,” it says.
The company says it has also envisioned custom luxury sea container homes and floating sea container apartment complexes.
