MONTGOMERY VILLAGE, Md. (WNEW) — A 17-year-old girl from Montgomery Village has been reported missing by her family after she never boarded a plane to Tennessee for summer camp.

Charlotte Y. Chan is described as a 5-foot-8 Asian female weighing about 110 pounds with brown eyes and long black hair.

Police and family are concerned for her emotional and physical well-being, as she was last contacted on Aug. 24 when she was scheduled to fly from Reagan National Airport to Tennessee. Police have confirmed that she never boarded that flight.

There is no indication of foul play at this time, according to police.

Anyone with information regarding Chan’s whereabouts is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Special Victims Investigations Division at 240-773-5400 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hour line).
