LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) — Police say a man wearing a Holloween-type mask robbed the BWI Airport Marriott Hotel early Tuesday morning.
Around 3:15 a.m., officers responded to the hotel located in the 1700 block of West Nursery Road, in Linthicum, for an armed robbery.
Employees told police that a man entered the hotel and approached the front desk. He then displaced a handgun and demanded money.
Employees turned over an undisclosed amount of money and the man fled the area. Officers searched the area but were unable to find the man.
The suspect is described as a 6-foot black male with a thin build. He was wearing dark-colored pants, a long sleeve shirt, a dark-colored vest with a wide, lighter-colored stripe on the front, a red baseball cap with a hood pulled up over it, a Halloween-type mask over his face and dark-colored gloves.
The investigation is ongoing.
