LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) — A Harford County man shot and killed his girlfriend before turning the gun on himself Monday morning.
Around 7:30 a.m. police responded to a home in the 1500 block of Robinson Mill Road, in Street, and found two people dead from gunshot wounds after making contact with family members on the scene.
Preliminary investigation indicates that sometime late Sunday, early Monday 34-year-old Brian Wesley Gordon shot and killed his girlfriend, 40-year-old Sandra Marie Kerner, inside the home they lived in together. Gordon then left the home and shot and killed himself.
A female infant was inside the home at the time of the shooting and was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
It was not immediately known how the infant was injured or why the shooting occurred.
The investigation is ongoing.
