LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) — An accident sent one vehicle crashing into a nearby building in Rockville, officials say.
Pete Piringer, spokesperson for the Montgomery County Fire Department, says the accident occurred around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the parking lot of 2403 Research Boulevard. Piringer says at least two cars are involved and crashed in the parking lot, sending one into the MetLife office building.

The car crashed about 25 feet into the building, trapping the driver.
Piringer says the all of those involved in the accident suffered non-life threatening injuries.
