WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III has accepted the #IceBucketChallenge, returning the challenge in kind to Wizards’ guard John Wall, D.C. rapper Wale and pop singer Demi Lovato.

The #IceBucketChallenge is a viral campaign designed to raise money and awareness for ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease), requiring the person to accept the challenge by taking a bucket of iced-cold water over his or her head, then naming the person(s) they wish to accept the challenge next.

And Griffin — accepting on behalf of 46NYC co-founder Graham Bunn, Baylor Bears quarterback Bryce Petty and ESPN’s Trey Wingo — took a big ole’ heaping three rounds of ice buckets, affording him the right to challenge three people (I think).

Three rounds. RGIII. I’m sure there’s something there.

Oh. And he called you out too, all NFL fans.
