WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — Here’s what we know about Kevin Durant, as it relates to Washington, D.C.: He’s from the area, comes back to visit all the time, and doesn’t want to talk about being a free agent in 2016 (when the Wizards just so happen to have a ton of money coming off the books).

We also know his endorsement deal with Nike recently expired, and he’s been courted as of late by Maryland-based Under Armour, which extended him a $325 million offer.

After weeks of speculating, the very real thirst of Wizards fans for KD had finally died down.

Then yesterday happened.

The Wizards 2014-15 regular season schedule was released, and naturally, Wizards fans gravitated to an Oklahoma City game in the nation’s capital, to be televised on ESPN on Jan. 21, 2015.

Then more Durant-Under Armour news.

It all reached a fever pitch when Trent Williams of the Redskins tweeted a picture of him hanging out Tuesday night with teammate DeSean Jackson and Durant.

You’re right. You’re right. It’s probably nothing.

Then again, who remembers this?

Now, lose your minds.
