LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — The Washington Wizards will be part of the NBA’s marquee Christmas Day lineup, announced Wednesday.
The Wizards will face off against Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

Tip-off is set for 12 p.m. on Christmas Day, which will be the first game in the league’s marathon, five-game holiday schedule.
It will be the first time the Wizards play on Christmas Day since 2008, when they played the Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James.
The Wizards first game of the season will be at home on Oct. 29, facing off against the Miami Heat.
They begin a grueling road trip on Nov. 12 in Detroit, then continue on to Orlando, Dallas and Cleveland until they c0me back to D.C. on Nov. 22.
