LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) — Six people are injured, including two officers and two children, following a serious accident in Baltimore.
The accident occurred Wednesday morning at Frankford and Plainfield Avenue.
Two officers were taken to a local hospital, both in serious condition. Four others, including two children, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Baltimore City Police tell WNEW that the two children’s ages are 8 and 10.
Witnesses tell WJZ that one officer appeared to be unconscious when being pulled from the vehicle and that one of the children was seen being revived by responders on scene.
The two officers were responding to a call for a woman wielding a knife, officials say.
The investigation is ongoing.
