2 Hurt, Car Splits in Half in Serious Accident
LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) — Two people have been hospitalized after a serious crash Friday morning in Anne Arundel County in which one of the vehicles split in half.
Anne Arundel County Police say the two-car crash happened at about 9 a.m. on Brockbridge Road in Laurel, near the overpass at Little Patuxent River. One of the vehicles ended up in a small creek leading up to the river.

Authorities say a 24-year-old man is in critical condition, and another person has minor injuries.
Brockridge Road was closed for several hours Friday but has since reopened.
