Ray Lewis Hands Out New Under Armour Uniforms to Students

BALTIMORE (WNEW) — Imagine being a football or basketball player in high school and having Ray Lewis give you new uniforms.

It happened Wednesday in Baltimore as the Ravens legend unveiled football and girls basketball uniforms for 24 area high schools donated and designed by Under Armour.

He’s hoping it was an experience they’ll never forget.

“Maybe it’s not sports, maybe it’s something else but this may be the opportunity to go on and do whatever you’re gonna do,” Lewis says to a room full of high school student athletes.

For Lewis, these uniforms are an opportunity to pay forward generosity given to him nearly 30 years ago when his mother couldn’t afford for him to play football.
