Amber Alert Issued For Va. Boy Abducted By His Father

LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) — A 3-year-old Virginia boy has been abducted by his father, who may be armed with AK-47 and a ballistics vest, authorities say.
A state-wide Amber Alert has been issued for Tommy Lee Able Engle, who was last seen in Critz, Virginia around 6:30 p.m. Monday.
His father, Tommy Lee Travis Engle, has made suicidal and homicidal threats. He is described as a white, 6-foot-3 man weighing about 200 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
The boy is described as a blonde-haired, blue-eyed boy weighing about 35 pounds and standing about 3 feet tall.
They may be traveling in a Navy blue 2001 Dodge Neon with Virginia tags WNZ-9169.
