LANHAM, Md. (WNEW) — A 17-year-old is dead following a motorcycle crash in southeast D.C. on Monday.
Around 2:40 p.m., police day the teenager was driving a green Kawasaki motorcycle southbound in the 3500 block of Alabama Avenue at a high rate of speed when it struck a curb.
He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. He later died on Wednesday.
The motorcyclist is being identified as a Temple Hills, Md. resident, but police are not releasing his name since he is a juvenile.
This crash is currently under investigation.
